Any addiction is due to the neurotransmitter dopamine going on a rampage.
Look at the 3 Cs addiction. Or porn addiction. Or even nasi lemak addiction. All because of the "hook".
That "hook" is dopamine.
It is the most potent drug. Not endocannabinoid.
We cannot escape dopamine addiction albeit by having a Kitty Kat Pet, Ayam Tonggek, or Organic California Raisins. At best we can mitigate our dependencies on dopamine.
Based on my recent experience, I need ZMA and CLO.
Dopamine addiction is about getting the hit, just like a drug addict getting the fix.
I have a proposal on how to have a clean hit.
- Definitely do away with Sugar and Flour. This is day four without Sugar and Flour. I completely lost my desire for processed carbs. Both create a toxic environment in your Universe Within that it is SO PAINFUL to even walk. And yet, the secret to life is in moving.
- I swear by these - ZMA + CLO. The last 2 days were euphoric for me. Imagine, my sinus is gone and I sleep like a baby. I am not exaggerating when I repeatedly recommend the[r]e (these) combo. Did I mention I no longer have a sandpaper throat?
- Keep it clean. Water, food. Just drink plain water and avoid frying your food. You can get high just by eating clean. Make sure you don't overindulge in food.
- Keep moving. Anything can be a dopamine hit INCLUDING moving regularly. Since we stretch our movement over a period of time, it is best to move at a steady pace until you have the strength and stamina to move fast. Be mindful of the compounded effect of repetitive motion.
- This I absolutely agree with my doctor; FIRST, LOSE WEIGHT.
- Finally, make use of the mirror when exercising. Heck, nothing like looking at yourself as the muse.
My current delight now is losing 1 kg a day.
If I am to single out the BIGGEST personal improvement, that will be moving 15 minutes @ hour.
